The Surrounding Area

Villages such as The Witterings and Bracklesham Bay are popular with visitors for their glorious stretches of sandy beaches. The area is ideal for windsurfing, watersports and of course walking and cycling.

Selsey is about 5 miles from Hunston and is a seaside resort with a Lifeboat station from where you might see the spectacular launch of the lifeboat.

Very close by is Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve best known for its birds with over 200 species seen each year. The nature reserve covers 1000 acres and is one of the few undeveloped stretches of coastline in Sussex.

Chichester Harbour is an area of outstanding natural beauty dotted with picturesque villages such as Bosham, Itchenor and Dell Quay to mention just a few.
